February 28th Wedding

A truly amazing phenomenon is how one single event can bring people together from all around the world! This weekend’s guests were coming from Germany, Colorado, Arizona, etc. She decided that since so many of them were traveling from such different directions that it would be perfect to have a Latin themed menu!

Appetizers consisted of Tomatillo Guacamole, Roasted Chipotle, Verde Salsa & Fire Roasted Poblano Queso. For the main course we served the Flank Steak with Caramelized Onions, Monterey Chicken with Manchego, Roasted New Potatoes with Crème Fraiche, Grilled Seasonal Veggies Infused with a Lemon Butter Sauce, and the Caesar Salad Mexicano. I have to say that this is one of my favorite menus because it is bursting with flavor and color!

I am almost certain her guests did not leave with an empty stomach! However, DJ RJ may have helped them work it all off. He was a great addition to the night and kept the couple as well as their guests dancing to songs like Foot Loose throughout night!

As for the décor, she chose two very classic and elegant colors- burgundy and ivory that were used in her linens, centerpieces, favors and napkin ties. The centerpieces were personalized with a picture wrapped in a cylinder vase that was illuminated with an LED tea light (a great way to light paper décor!) and jellybean favors were definitely a favorite! Of course, who can forget about the cake….the Sweet Stuff Bakery created a delightful ivory cake that added another beautiful and classic element to the evening affair.

Thank you both for allowing us to be a part of your magical day and we wish the best!
