We Love The Knot!!!

We know The Knot takes care of our brides by offering info about anything and everything that has to do with weddings, which is one of the many reasons we love advertising with them. Another reason is that they take care of us, too! April and I had the opportunity to attend an event of theirs and were blown away by what they had prepared. Aside from the spectacular hors d'oeuvres, refreshing drinks, and oh so tempting gelato (yumm!) they prepared a presentation about our amazing Austin brides! They help us get to know you and what you want for your wedding. And after all, this is your wedding!

Since The Knot is THE top wedding website and magazine, they of course offer brides so many fun décor and wedding ideas. It was no surprise that they had so many amazing details at the event. We wanted to share some of our faves:

FOOD! The fabulous menu fit the time of year and location perfectly!! As we walked in the door, we were wowed by mini duck burgers, plantain chips dusted with powdered sugar, lettuce wraps and spring rolls with fresh crab. The duck burgers were SO incredible and one thing that I would have never thought to add to an event!

DÉCOR! They set up white cabanas throughout the grounds, had lounge chairs at ever single corner and flowers that cascaded down each beam. It was fresh and vibrant without being overdone. They also had some very tan cabana boys walking around with spritzer and frozen grapes… need we say more?!

FAVORS! As we left, we were handed a goodie bag filled with all sorts of fun! One thing that stood out was the flip book. What a great idea! This would be such a great and entertaining gift to hand out to your guests. Check them out at www.flipitsonline.com
April has a little.. well big sweet tooth and she loved the sugar cookie favors made by FB&C. They looked AND tasted wonderful. Their website is www.FBandC.com
