Fall Interns

It’s that time again! Time to introduce our interns who have been doing an incredible job this semester!

Ashlyne
School: Texas State University
Major: Recreational Administration
Plans after Gradation: I am hoping to travel a little, and hopefully find a job in event coordinating.
Favorite Part of Internship: I have really enjoyed working with the Winfield Inn staff as well as getting experience in the privately owned venue verses the bigger (less personal) hotel industry. Everything so far has been my favorite part.

Candice
School: Texas State University
Major: Fashion Merchandising
Plans after graduating: To find a job in event coordinating/ wedding coordinating.
Favorite part of the internship: To have a small part in someone’s special day! And meeting wonderful new people!

Julie
School: Texas State University
Major: Recreational Administration
Plans after graduating: Graduate: May 2010. Attend grad school, or begin working somewhere I will enjoy and love--something possibly involving special events, athletics, or marketing!
Favorite part of the internship: Seeing new couples every weekend and making them happy! I love the creativity that goes into each wedding and making each one different and accustomed to their styles. The property is also a beautiful setting and a very enjoyable place to be for any occasion
