New Year 2014

Well it's that time of year again!

A New Year. A new you. A brand new start for everyone.

How amazing is it that it's already 2014? That year flew by for me, personally way to fast. I have no reasons to complain though. I was blessed with the opportunity to help make dreams come true; the whole Winfield Team was able to be a part of that -- to bring loved ones together and to create one of the most SPECIAL days that a bride and groom will ever have.

Yes, it is a new year with brand new possibilities -- but none of us here at The Winfield could imagine doing anything but creating brand new dreams for each unique and special couple that walks through our doors.

We are SO excited for the Spring and the lovely couples we have all fallen in love with... And for hope -- hope that we find in each other's eyes for the future, for the planned and the unplanned, and the spectacularly unknown.

So join me in 2014 with a promise of love, and helping people fall deeply and madly into it!

Winter Wishes

WOW! I'm sorry it has been TWO months since I have posted anything! Time sure does fly when you're having fun ;)

Today I wanted to share a few photos that have been shared with us this year. We LOVE getting new photos from photographers, because that means that we can share them with the world! So if you're a photographer with some Winfield photos stashed in your giant pile of edits... feel free to just send them our way : )

We would also like to take a moment to say MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!! Isn't this time of year so much fun?!? Finding things you know your best friend will love, wrapping gifts, baking cookies, burning cookies (just me?), and spending time with friends and family. One of my favorite things about getting together with everyone is reminiscing. Looking ahead to the future is awesome, but remembering the good times that have passed is the best.

With that said... we hope you enjoy some of these gorgeous photos from 2012!

A Little More Lovin'

"Words can not express how amazing our wedding was at the Winfield! The grounds are kept up so beautifully and the house is AMAZING!! The staff is also top notch! Robyn was our coordinator and she made sure our ever need was taken care for the start of planning right up to very end of the wedding! The food was also AMAZING!! We had steaks and they were so good! The green beans the chef made were also out of this world!! Our guest are still raving about the Winfield a month after our wedding!!"

"The Winfield Inn was the perfect place for us to have our wedding. Every single person on staff (Especially April and Robyn) was immensely helpful when I had a question and they were always very quick to respond, even though they had tons of other weddings going on too. The venue is breath-takingly beautiful. If you are looking for an outdoor venue with Southern charm in the Austin, TX area, this is the one. The grass is so green everywhere and they have lots of lovely plants and big trees on the property. I felt like I was constantly changing things and revising what I wanted from them, but they were extremely flexible and willing to work with me. They also did their best to help me keep the cost down as much as possible. 
On the day of the wedding, I didn't have to do a single thing. I brought all the centerpieces, but they did all of the setting up and decorating. They made sure me and my bridesmaids had everything we needed while getting ready and were willing to get anything we didn't have right away. Our ceremony was perfect and then we headed to the reception. Their catering is DELICIOUS. We went with the barbecue and people have been talking about it for the past 2 months. Everything else on their menu sounded so tasty too though, so it was hard to choose. Also, about 1 month prior to our big day, they set up a tasting/date night for you to come and try all your food. They give you wine and bring out all of your courses and allow you to give feedback on what you like/don't like or what you would like changed. 
I really can't say enough good things about the Winfield Inn. I am so so so happy we had our wedding there. I wouldn't change a thing."

We had such a great time meeting all of the new brides at the Bridal Extravaganza this weekend! Thank you for coming by!

Three cheers for everyone at the Bridal Extravaganza, yes, even you vendors!!! Everyone had such creative booths and the brides were very impressed! Personally, I love the extravaganza because I get to meet so many new people. Hearing what a bride has envisioned is always exciting and meeting all of the new vendors is fantastic! I hope you all had a wonderful time as well and were able to get all kinds of new ideas!
